About

Studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge

I am back at Cambridge this year to complete a fourth year, turning my undergraduate degree into an integrated master's! It'll be in systems biology, which is an interdisciplinary subject mixing in maths, engineering and the natural sciences together to create the best models for biological research.

Mentoring experience

I've mentored a few fantastic students on their next steps, particularly if they are aiming for Oxbridge. In particular, I mentored one student for fun over a year, and he is now starting Natural Sciences this year! I've learnt so much from intensively helping out one student; I'll be writing a blog post about it.

Tutoring experiences

I've accumulated so much teaching and tutoring experience over the years. It's something I truly love to do!
I've done random tutoring jobs over the years, but in the summer of 2025, I went to Hong Kong for nine weeks to work at a tutoring agency. We also had to go into schools occasionally to run our own courses. This summer, I have conducted 58 mock interviews for the best Oxbridge-focussed tutoring agency in China, specifically a biology mock interview. This was followed by a lengthy feedback of their performance!

Random odd jobs

The goal of this website is I want to show the small things I've done from time to time, because it's difficult for me to talk about what I've done on my CV. I want to write about the time I delved into electronics to make a portable ECG display for an outfit, or what it took to get a world record in BTD6 🤭 and what it teaches about what it takes to be an expert in something, or other obsessions I have about anything interesting in biology. None of this is easy for me to write a standard LinkedIn post about, I'd rather have more agency in how I present the information so here we are!
